About us

Plendia s.r.o. is a specialized outpatient clinic focused on endocrinology, diabetology, internal medicine, and general practice. Our goal is to provide patients with modern, accessible, and highly professional healthcare based on an individual approach, thorough diagnostics, and long-term health monitoring.

We combine the experience of physicians with many years of clinical practice in metabolic and hormonal disorders, internal medicine, and preventive care. This allows us to offer a comprehensive view of a patient’s health issues and propose optimal treatment strategies.

Endocrinology

Diagnosis and treatment of hormonal disorders

One of our main areas of expertise is endocrinology – the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the hormonal system.

Care for patients with diabetes and metabolic disorders

We provide comprehensive care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as individuals at risk of developing diabetes.

monitoring of patients with prediabetes
management of modern antidiabetic therapy
monitoring and treatment of gestational diabetes

Obesity

Treatment of obesity and metabolic disorders

Obesity is a significant risk factor for many diseases.

Sonography

Modern ultrasound diagnostics

For accurate diagnosis, we use ultrasound (sonographic) examinations, which provide fast and non-invasive assessment of many health conditions.

thyroid and neck ultrasound
carotid artery ultrasound
abdominal ultrasound
soft tissue examination

Sonography is an important tool not only for diagnosis but also for long-term monitoring.

Acute Care

Acute and preventive care

In addition to specialized care, we also provide examinations for acute health problems requiring prompt medical evaluation.

Patients can contact us for:

We also place strong emphasis on prevention and early detection of health problems.

Treatment Options

Modern and flexible patient communication

We aim to make healthcare as accessible as possible.

remote (online) consultation of laboratory results
online medical consultations
individual long-term health monitoring plans
flexible appointment times (evenings, weekends)

Patients do not always need to visit the clinic in person if their condition can be safely managed remotely.

Opening hours

Plendia s.r.o. does not operate with fixed office hours. Our clinic is designed to be maximally flexible and adapted to patient needs.

Appointments are always arranged individually in advance according to the patient’s health condition and availability. This system allows us to dedicate sufficient time to each patient and ensure a calm environment for diagnosis and consultation.

Our team

MUDr. Peter Riško, Ph.D.

Dr. Peter Riško is an experienced physician specializing in endocrinology, diabetology, internal medicine, general practice, and occupational medicine. He graduated from the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University and has over 15 years of clinical experience.

Expertise

metabolic syndrome, obesity, and lipid metabolism disorders
prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
the full spectrum of endocrine disorders
glucose metabolism disorders and diabetes care

His Ph.D. focused on preventive cardiovascular medicine, particularly early detection of atypical risk factors for atherosclerosis.

He obtained specialization in diabetology and endocrinology through work at the Second Department of Internal Medicine and ICU at FNKV. He also specialized in general practice at the Department of Occupational and Travel Medicine, where he gained experience in occupational medicine, vaccination, and travel medicine.

Intensive Care Experience

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led a COVID internal intensive care unit, gaining extensive experience in critical care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Academic Activity

He is actively involved in publishing and teaching, contributing to medical education and training of young doctors.

MUDr. Jana Němečková

Dr. Jana Němečková graduated from the Second Faculty of Medicine at Charles University. She has extensive experience in diabetology, endocrinology, and internal medicine.

Expertise

diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders
differential diagnosis in internal medicine

She also specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds, especially diabetic foot syndrome, including modern healing techniques and prevention of complications.

She has experience in outpatient and hospital care, allowing her to approach patients comprehensively.

She emphasizes careful diagnostics, individualized treatment, and open communication. Her approach combines modern medicine with empathy and respect for each patient’s needs.

Plendia s.r.o. does not provide services under the Czech public health insurance system. All services are paid directly by the patient.
